Preserving plants and flowers J.I.C #4

Reflection

When investigating how to preserve the specimens, resin intentionally came to mind, however due to the expense of this method I had to come up with another way to do this. I ended up using thick pieces of acrylic to hold the plant specimens in place. This adaption was a better solution in the end, as it meant that I could play around with the placement of the objects before sealing them in. The idea of layering the objects, and staggering them did interest me to begin with, however the restraints on size meant that this wasn't a viable option on this occasion.
