Using cloth to make paint transplant, I started experimenting with mark making by testing the technique on a plank of wood, I found the process enjoyable, the fleshy colours contribute to the connotations of a flesh wound. The cloth cut into the shape of a dress is illustrative of a traumatic situation, I don't usually make work such as this however I felt it was important to try something new, in order to help define myself as an artist or at least rule out what I am not.
