I found this article fascinating, particular the part about sound being thought of as being a phantom, being of evanescent character, confronting the viewer as a hallucinogenic quality that could resurrect the dead. Those properties are very relatable to the concepts that I am grappling with currently, I am especially fascinated by the concept that buildings can be thought of as music instruments, as the design of the building can be conductive to the roundest of the sound. For example, churches are built to project the sound of singing so that it echos around the building and sounds louder. This is important, as it changes the way sound is heard, or misheard and there for distorted due to the shape of the building it is originating from.
