Scarborough Fair / Re- worked
I re-wrote the lyrics to a well known folk song, I choose to keep the language used fairly dated and the chorus the same so that it would be instantly recognisable. As I tapped into the song I felt an instant connection to the song and the words seem to pour out of me. This actions are symbolic of reconnecting with the past by singing. Songs to me exist as time capsules locking in the memories and feelings.
