maldon mud

Maldon Mud

Visited Maldon in Essex, to do research on a location. I find this location by the mud to be calming, as I sit any look out over the water I feel closer to the earth. This line drawn in the mud intrigues me as it appears like it has been formed by waves, that have left traces of themselves then vanished like ghosts, or perhaps the mud just cracked due the weather. I'm not sure of the exact reason for the lines appearance, regardless the line left behind act as a natural drawing that in turn behaves like visual poetry, responding to the location I wrote a poem reflecting on the site. Entitled Drifting in and out.
