Reflection

Thinking about natural forms acting as poetry, the contrast between the dark moodiness of the sky and the prominent natural forms illustrates the mood of some of my poetic works. When thinking about words, they exist as multi-sensory forms, such as images, tastes and colours. This allows me to feel fully immersed in what i'm writing. Playing with light and shadow, by turning familiar everyday items strange and defamiliarising them, I create an element of theatre into my work. The stillness of the images give of them impression that they are props in a production.
