Selection of poetry

A selection of Poetry written and performed by Emily Gardiner

I have  created a montage of  selected high lights from my poetry works to date, I chose to combine them as a single conversational strand, so as to see there connection to one another. It is only as they are laid out in this fashion that I notice a theme emerging, the image of the swan building a nest for its future young creates a sense of calm that works alongside the sound of my voice in designing a metaphor for fixing what has been unravelled, in hopes of stability. The sound of my voice contrasts with the spoken word in building an info-structure of the past, the present and the imagination.
