Reflection
This series of images play with the juxtaposition of a porcelain doll arm signifying the fragility of innocence on a coastline of buried secrets. The arms are positioned outwards as if they were searching for something or someone. What I think has worked well within these images is the contrast between the materials, the smooth porcelain highlighting the natural textures around it. Weathered metals and woods become metaphors for hardship, that the arms are breaking out from and heading into the unknown.
