I made this recording as an experiment to see whether sound was able to capture more then just the description of an object but description of the space the object was situated it as well. The verdict, its hard to tell. I think in a larger room the results may be more striking, yet the atmosphere taken from the object is still very apparent. The humming of the tumble dryer becomes soothing white noise that conveys the feeling of being 'in-between'. A concept I am current developing.
