Harwich - Photography - Research

Harwich - Dover court

Reflection

Carrying on my research into sculptural structures and traces of human presence, I particularly love the old light house, from talking to a stranger on the beach I found out the light house used to be a lot taller then it appears today, however over time it has be buried in layer and layers of sand and shingle from the beach resulting in a half buried semi-function object. The weathered appearance is testimony to its years of service. These forms are useful to my developing practice as they display a variation of narrative readings that I can develop at a later date.
