Reflection
These sculptural forms symbolise the delicate balance between life and death, the chicken bones that might have seemed grotesque by themselves have been lifted by the natural salt crystal after being purified in a bowl of salt water for 30 days, the resulting salt crystals are a product of time and natural process. I will continue to experiment with salt crystals within my practice as I feel they convey powerful narratives about re-imagining the function of objects.
