Reflection
Since I've started to work more and more with the power of the object I continue to reflect upon the charge of an object and how the essence of a object is made up of experiences. These objects are evocative of narrative particularly the marbles that are linked to childhood and play. But also mental health 'losing your marbles' is a well known phrase that describes a loss of sanity. But preserving the essence of these objects I lock in time the concept of sanity causing it to stay in limbo. Within my practice the materials themselves are very important as they provide a narrative within themselves.
