Clay Experiments #3 - Scattered Objects

Reflection

After allowing these objects to oxidise for a couple of weeks, I went to find them a suitable resting place. By coupling them next to some ruins in flint, I am remarking on the comparisons between the man-made of the present day and the hand-crafted of the past, both from naturally occurring materials, these objects are complimentary towards each other. The cracks and weathering appearance of my clay objects help them to look muted and quieter, as if they are having a conversation in whisper to their neighbouring flint. I am tempted to make some more out of plaster alone, with a herculite and iron covering and see how they would reacted left in the elements; checking on them periodically for any changes within their forms. I wonder If they are left in a place longer will they inherit more meaning form it?
